The following face wash reviews are based on what I have been using in the last year. Therefore, I have taken the time to really test and try to see which of these are the most effective for me. Like with any and all products, everyone's skin respond's differently. What I would recommend is to sample if possible or purchase a travel size product. Then, if you are satisfied, you can always go back for the larger one! So here we go!
When searching for the right product that best suits your skin, I would consider the following components. Begin by determining your skin type. This is a key element in providing any care for your skin. It is important because what may be suitable for dry skins could be causing someone with oily skin an extra amount of moisture or vice versa. You're skin should always feel comfortable. Some signs to watch for are feelings of tightness or itchiness to your skin. This could possibly mean you're facing some dryness. However, if you have some slickness followed by shine, most likely you've got some excessive oil production that is commonly geared towards an oily type skin. Many of us are combination skin types that have signs of both. When you are aware of your skin type, you can prepare for the next step! Look for cleansers with your skin type, it will prevent you from mixing up your skins true needs!
My next most important rule when choosing a cleanser is if it will leave foundation on to my white towels! I prefer to keep my makeup on my face and off my towels! Therefore, consider looking for cleansers that will not only remove dirt and debris, but also remove makeup. Often times products claim to remove makeup and then you try it for yourself and your left with left over makeup still on your face. This is not proper cleansing. This can lead to future damaging and that's why it is very important to find the best cleanser for your specific needs.
Last but not least, I look for cleansers that have green tea, cucumber and aha (alpha hydroxy acid) in them. Green tea will help destroy bacteria that can cause breakouts that can later help prevent future breakouts. Another ingredient I look for is cucumber. It is a natural soothing and healing component. I recommend aha for anti-aging benefits. It's job is to lift up dead skin cells and impurities, leaving brand new skin to shine through the surface. Kenneth Beer, MD, a clinical instructor in dermatology at Duke University in Durham, N.C., who is in private practice in Palm Beach, Fla. says, “Alpha hydroxy acids are great exfoliators and increase blood flow to the skin, so they can help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles.” (http://www.everydayhealth.com/skin-and-beauty/alpha-hydroxy-acids.aspx)
So, is it possible to find cleansers with all of the above infused into one? Hmmmm let's see! Come and take this journey with me in a search to find the one!

Fresh: Soy Face Cleanser
I am a fan of fresh products! I'm crazy in love with the Fresh Sake Hair Cream! You've gotta take a whiff of it next time you are in a Sephora store. Delish!Anyhow, I love how gentle this cleanser is on my face. It does not foam up at all, for a more gentle cleansing (which means it stands by its word, "gentle). It claims to delicately cleanse the skin, is safe to use around the eye area, and removes all makeup (even mascara). I did the towel test and it passed! It contains a a high concentration of soy proteins packed with amino acids and antioxidants. The mild composition is enhanced with pure extracts of rose, cornflower, mallow, aloe vera, cucumber, and ginseng. These natural extracts help to tone, soothe, and reduce dryness. This falls into my anti-aging component and requirements for sensitive users. So, it also passes in this area! However, you may feel a bit of tightness for a few minutes, I skipped the moisturizer to see how it would play since it claimed to reduce dryness, and it eventually went away! I give this product 5 stars!

My next most-sought after cleansers that I've used for a very long time are Clinique's Makeup Cleansers for your specific skin type! These are makeup cleansers and do not lift up dirt and debris. You will need to have a separate cleanser for this. I am a combination skin type, like most of us, so I use the rinse-off foaming cleanser generated to keep the balance of my combination skin. Clinique considers me as a skin type 3 and they provide for me a whole range of skincare for my specific needs. They are the forefathers of today's generation of 3-step skincare! However, going back to my experience with the foaming cleanser, it literally soaks up all my makeup and you only need a dime size! This tube can last me up to six months! When I purchase this cleanser, I do go home with my alternate soap along with it that is used to do the initial cleansing of my skin. I give this cleanser a 5 stars as well! So, the next time you visit a Clinique counter, you can consult in determining your skin type.

I love love love this product, hence I've saved the best for last! The trouble here, is that the information is written in Japanese! Thank goodness there was a description cut out for those of us who don't read Japanese in the store I found it in! Here is it's claim: A cream cleanser with added tea leaf extract to help penetrate deep down into the pores to rid of dirt and oil. It's 100% nature generated washing ingredients including amino acid and its extra fine lather gently cleanse your skin while protecting it from drying. This foam helps grab onto to dirt and other contamination for a refreshing and clean feeling. The added trehalose helps restore the natural moisture back into your skin for a more softer and smoother feel. This cleanser passed all three components that I solemnly look for in a cleanser 1.) It's geared towards all skin types, 2.) It removes both makeup and dirt/debris, 3.) It is infused with green tea that helps prevent future breakouts and had anti-aging benefits! This cleanser leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. I don't felt my skin feeling dry or itchy. My skin feels very comfortable after washing with this product! So, is there a product infuse with everything in one? Evidently, the answer is YES! This is a product on the market for an extremely affordable price that is infused with everything you'd want in a cleanser! And of course I gave it an awesome 5 stars! I purchased this at a Japanese store called Ichiban San. You can also find it online on www.Amazon.com!
Happy Cleansing!
That's interesting! Can you please share more about it? Thank you.
