This product was recommended to me by Sephora to help with old scarring from very aged breakouts. I've tried many products that was geared towards minimizing the look of pores and haven't quite found the product. However, if I can identify the solution to this problematic need, I always turn to Clinique's Pore Minimizer products to help succumb the appearance of these scars. Although, I'm looking for a more permanent result.
I have used the PTR Resurfacer for about a week 1/2, almost 2 weeks, but I started to notice little tiny breakouts all over my face. Usually, when this happens this is telling me it's way too strong for my skin. I sampled it before thinking about purchasing the product. Sephora is really good with this service and they very much encourage it! I know that Nordstroms does as well. These are one of the important reasons why I continue to shop at these stores then any other. They also preach 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you are unhappy with practically any of their products, they will take it back! The both even have an awesome rewards program! I've seen people go home with some really awesome full size products from Sephora when you reach 500 plus points! I love it!
PTR Resurfacer has received great ratings from People's magazine and has high ratings currently which is why I was excited to try it. Many women have noticed a softer feel to their skin. They've seen improvement in texture and less fine lines as well. On the other hand, I am very sensitive and prone to breakouts therefore, it definitely responded differently. Unfortunately, I will not be going back for this product, but I will try his other products as I hear great reviews with his line overall. Until then!
